His artistic take on R&B has seen him compared to Blood Orange and Frank Ocean, while he aims to take stereotypes of masculinity head-on through his work. The video for his latest track has particular impact, combining wonderfully shot, wide visuals with close-up shots full of meaning. One scene in particular depicts four women dressed in white walking through a stony, lakeside landscape, while the next is a close-up focusing on an elaborate face covering.
